The Diocese of Funchal is launching a new programme of preparation for the Sacrament of Marriage in English, aimed at couples who wish to undertake this journey in that language.
The first meeting is scheduled for April 21, at 8:00 p.m., at Caniço Church.
According to the information provided, the preparation will take the form of an interactive discussion built around six main themes: “A community of love”; “New situations, new demands”; “Dialogue and expressions of love”; “The fecundity of the couple”; “The Wedding, Sacrament of love”; and “Love through life”.
This initiative seeks to offer pastoral support to English-speaking couples preparing for marriage, while also helping them to reflect more deeply on the human, spiritual and sacramental dimensions of married life.
